Alexa L. Cox exclusively represents injured victims as a result of car wrecks, slip and falls, nursing home neglect and abuse, medical negligence, and defective products. She began her career at Grossman & Moore as a law clerk in April 2015 and joined the firm as an associate after graduation from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. During law school, she clerked for plaintiffs’ firms and decided to devote her career to helping individuals and families who had been wronged by institutions and corporations.

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Alexa moved to Louisville in 2012 to attend law school and chose to make the city her home following graduation. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee with a major in English and a minor in French in 2011. In 2015, she received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.

While in law school, Alexa served as an Articles Editor on The University of Louisville Law Review. In addition, she was selected as one of four students to represent Brandeis School of Law and the Negotiation Moot Court Competition in New York City. She received Highest Grade Awards in Basic Legal Skills and Real Estate Transactions. She also served as a writing mentor for students at Central High School.

Alexa is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is a member of the Louisville, Kentucky, and American Bar Associations, American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA).
